At New Life In Christ Fellowship...

We stand in awe of who Jesus is and what he has done as we hold to an uncompromising faith in the eternal love, goodness, and power of God in all things.

Our church embraces a Christ-Centered Trinitarian Theology, believing that the Triune God
revealed in Jesus Christ, is first and foremost a relational God of perfect love, communion,
and fellowship who created all humans for the express purpose of adoption into his family for
all eternity.  The Father sent the Son for the sins of the world and Jesus, having conquered
death, now sends the Holy Spirit to be the very essence of His presence with us testifying and
assuring us of our adoption as His beloved children forever.

    Eph. 1:3-10, Rom 8:16-17, Acts 2:17, John 14:10-23, 15:26

We believe in the unlimited atonement of Jesus Christ and the universal election of humanity for salvation.

While some are, undoubtedly, called and elect for specific functions in this life according to God's
purposes and God gives every person the freedom to ultimately believe and accept their salvation
or not, none are excluded from the eternal life and salvation provided to all men through Christ's
redemptive work as the Last Adam.

   Romans 5:18-19, John 3:16, 12:32, 1 Tim. 4:10, 1 Corin. 5:14-17

We are evangelical in terms of mission.

While we believe that all people are reconciled to God and included in the redemptive work
of Christ, most people do not know it or yet believe it.  Therefore, it is the purpose of the
church to share the good news, going into all the world teaching and baptizing disciples in the
name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  To "be saved" is to accept, receive, and experience the
free gift of eternal life that is already provided for all people through the finished work of Christ.

  Matt. 28:18-20, 2 Corin. 5:18-21, Acts 1:8

We are inclusive in our view of the church.

Although our theology is somewhat unique among most of the evangelical community, we
understand that the Body of Christ is much greater than any individual denomination or fellowship,
consisting of all who believe that Jesus is the Son of God and put their trust in Him.  No corporate
group of believers can legitimately claim to have a corner on all Biblical truth and understanding as
it relates to our infinite Lord.  Therefore, we humbly desire to promote unity within the Christian
community and work cooperatively with other parts of the Body where possible in spreading the
gospel and being a positive light in our community.

  John 17:20-21

  corporate website at www.gci.org.

We are delighted that you have chosen to visit our website and we invite you to visit our worship services as well.  We meet three Sundays each month at the BMSI Executive Training Center at
3172 Hwy 20 Decatur, Alabama.  We also hold small "Faith Group" meetings at various locations on the fourth Sunday of each month. Visitors are always welcome with no obligations or follow-up pressures of any kind.
Remember, you are one of the children God always wanted. He included you in his plan of  salvation before the foundations of the world.  Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and in Him we live, and move, and have our being.
